RENOVATION

When someone wants to renovate their house or other building, they need to inform TNB. Any wiring from tiang to meter to give electric supply belong to TNB. Therefore if the renovation effect the TNB properties , the owner to the house need to pay for the damage. The contractor who was given the task to do the renovation must has license for wiring to make sure their connection and wiring is safe for the customer.

13/ 4/ 2010, in Kajang Perdana, one house under renovate has put on fire due to wrong connection on the wayar kaki lima by the contractor. The contractor who responsible for the task has make error by connect neutral wire to life wire. This cause fire , luckily this only the small fire. Because of that, the whole line of the housing area cannot get electricity because the wayar kaki lima which effected supply the whole line of housing area.

TNB has been call to repair this damage. They make temporary connection to make sure that house and the other houses nearby which share the same source get the eclectic supply. Owner need to report this to the TNB office and other TNB team will arrive to make further action but the owner need to pay.
